- This is a combined Synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. The NAICS is 424910. The Small Business Size Standard is 100 employees. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001: Seed mix for habitat restoration at F. E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming. All seed amounts are for PLS, Pure Live Seed. The species required in the seed mix and approximate percentages of each follows: Blue Grama (25%) Buffalograss (10%) Green Needlegrass (20%) Sideoats Grama (20%) Western Wheatgrass (25%) Please provide quote for your sale price for 1 pound of seed mix and for larger unit quantities if you offer price reductions for bulk purchases. Approximate total requirement is for 3,680 pounds of pure live seed. Delivery of the products shall be made by May 15, 2007. The pricing shall include cost for delivery. The delivery location is 90th Civil Engineering Squadron, F.E.Warren AFB, WY, 82005-2860. The seed must be kept dry and protected from dew and rain during delivery. No grass seed containing prohibited or restricted noxious weed seed for the state of Wyoming will be accepted. Seed must be certified weed free. The contractor will furnish seed mix in standard containers (bags) with labels or stencils containing seed mix name and composition, and net weight. All seed computations should be made on a pure live seed (PLS) basis. The following clauses will apply to this solicitation and will be transferred into the award.
