The solicitation number for this procurement is being changed to FA8103-07-R-0343 THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE This is expected to be a requirements contract for 1 year and 4 one year options for the overhaul of NSN: 4820-01-140-1975TP P/N: 3289522-3-1 PR Number(s): FD20300701210 Item: 0001 NSN: 4820011401975TP VALVE,REGULATING,TE P/N: 3289522-3-1, Description: Dim: 7 in wide x 11 in high. Func: The valve functions to control air discharge temperature by modulating cooling flow of fan air. Valve, fan air located on fan air discharge side of air heat exchanger. Valve is pneumatically controlled by integral thermostatic device. Best Estimated Qty: 32 per year CAV II data will also be required. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. The solicitation will be uploaded to FedBizOpps on approximately 19 March 2007. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 736-3273. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 90 days after the issuance of this notice. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. See Note(s) 1, 12, 23, 25 and 26.
