- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, type contract (base and four one year option periods) for various types of 40 caliber ammunition, to include, ?service?, ?training?, reduced-lead and frangible. The RFP#0193025 will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 15. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 423990, the Small Business Size Standard is 100 employees. This RFP is being conducted as an unrestricted procurement. Required ammunition specifications shall include, but are not limited to the following: 1) functional capability in Glock Models 22, 23, 27(all Glock Models include a specific hexagonal rifled barrel, rifling lead and one twist in 9.84 inches) and SIGARMS Model P229; 2) conformance to all dimensional specifications and performance standards recommended by the Sports Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute (SAAMI) and elsewhere as specified by the FBI; 3) guaranteed shelf life of five years from date of delivery and; 4) packaged in boxes of 50 rounds. Delivery of awarded ammunition shall be distributed throughout the CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, San Juan and Puerto Rico. This RFP is to be issued on approximately 05/30/2007. A request for RFP#0193025 shall be in writing and submitted to the attention of Ms. Renee L. Braun, Engineering Research Facility, Room A-226, Quantico, VA 22135 or via e- mail at rbraun@fbiacademy.edu. This RFP will be issued as a hard copy only. Electronic versions will not be available.
