- ***** THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.***** The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Freestanding Biodiesel Reactor/Processor unit to be supplied to the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy located in Inez, Kentucky. We are interested in a unit capable of yielding a range of 200 US gallons to 2500 US gallons every 24 hour period and produces clean filtered biodiesel fuel. The government is currently conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10 to identify potential sources to provide for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Proprietary information submitted should be marked appropriately. Firms capable of supplying this type of item should email a statement of capability including company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address along with product information to Paul Preece at cpreece@bop.gov by Monday May 7th 2007.
