- Description
- South Creek Project will be offered as a Stewardship Contract. The South Creek project is located on the Dixie National Forest on the Escalante Ranger District north of Pine Lake. The project area contains approximately 7,356 acres, and will include timber removing, commercial thinning, meadow restoration and travel management activities. Anticipated start date will be 16 July 2007. The approximate posting date for the solicitation will be 14 May 2007 with the applicable maps/drawings and attachments to this same website. The closing date for the solicitation will be 14 June 2007. Project specific technical questions may be directed to Mr. Phil Eisenhauer at (435) 865-3705. A pre-bid conference (collaboration meeting) is scheduled for 21 May 2007 at 12:00 (noon) local time at the Panguitch Ranger District, 225 E. Center Street, Panguitch, Utah.
