- The Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest, Boulder and Canyon Lakes Ranger Districts have an urgent requirement for mountain pine beetle spraying services. The window of opportunity is very short. We must ask the quotes be delivered to the Contracting Officer no later than May 15, 2007, with best possible pricing. Please send copy of applicable licensure, certifications, insurance, etc. WITH the quotation. The Government will assess the capability of each offeror on the basis of the following criteria which, when combined, are of approximately equal to price in the evaluation: (1) Organizational Experience (Length of time involved in work directly related to that which is required in this contract) , (2) Organizational Past Performance, and (3) Understanding of the Government's requirements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished in RFP) and incidentals necessary to spray approximately 3,300 lodgeopole pine on the Boulder and Canyon Lakes Ranger Districts of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests to prevent mountain pine beetle attacks and protect campground improvements. This contract is designed to protect lodgepole pine trees in pine beetle infested campground and picnic areas through preventative spraying of an EPA approved insecticide, Carbaryl. In addition, Contractor will be required to obtain all licensing and adhere to all requirements for spraying carbaryl in the State of Colorado, Boulder and Larimer Counties. This project is valued below $100,000. The anticipated issuance date of this solicitation is May 1, 2007. The solicitation will be due to the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, AQM Department located at 2150 Centre Avenue, Building E, in Fort Collins, Colorado, 80526 on or before May 14, 2007, 16:30 local time. This solicitation is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The solicitation documents can be downloaded, at no cost at www.fbo.gov (search for solicitation number AG-82AT-S-07-0005).
