Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for Government furnished property, to construct four livestock pipelines. There will be two bid schedule (A & B) but only one schedule will be awarded, depending upon best value to the government. BID SCHEDULE A will consist of: 1) mobilization, 1 lump sum; 2) Trenching, (Common) Backfilling & Compacting, 15,398 LF; 3) Trencing, (Rock) Backfilling & Compacting, 2100 LF; 4) PVC, Class 160, or HDPE, SDR-11 1 1/2 inch Pipe, 16,798 LF; 5) PVC, Class, 200, or HDPE, SDR-9 1 1/2 inch Pipe, 700 LF; 6) Curb Stop Assembly, 1 inch, 4 each; 7) Air Relief Valve Assembly, 5 each; 8) Hydrant Assembly, 5 each; 9) Pump Facility (Pressure System, 1 each. BID SCHEDULE B will consist of: 1) Mobilization, 1 Lump Sum; 2) Trenching, (Common) Backfilling & Compacting, 15,398 LF; 3) Trenching (Rock) Backfilling & Compacting, 2100 LF; 4) PVC, Class 160, or HDPE, SDR-11 1 1/2 inch Pipe, 16,798 LF; 5) PVC, Class 200, or HDPE, SDR-9 1 1/2 inch pipe, 700 LF; 6) Curb Stop Assembly, 1 inch, 4 each; 7) Air Relief Valve Assembly, 5 each; 8) Hydrant Assembly, 5 each; 9) Pump Facility (Pressure System) 1 each. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. The Small business size standard is $31.0 million. Work under this contract is located in Prairie and Garfield County. The contractor will have Fourty Nine (49) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about July 20, 2007. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. It is also recommended that contractors register theirAnnual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of June 11, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about July 10, 2007. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ.
