Description

The VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Frensenius Medical, of Gurnee, IL regartding 8 2008K System Dialysis Machines. These are the known multi-function dialysis machines on the market. These machines can provide CRRT or IHD or SLED. We need to continue the ongoing treatment of providing multimodalities of dialysis for clinical care. We currently have 12 such machines in use which our staff is trained upon and its imperative to continue.This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government will consider proposals received by 6/1/07. A determination based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See note 22
