- Description
- The Fremont-Winema National Forests have a variety of support facilities throughout south, central, and southeast Oregon. These facilities include, but are not limited to adminnistrative, residential, and recreational buildings, vehicular fueling stations, potable water systems, wastewater systems, utilities, and other infrastructures. These facilities support all Forest missions for public users and agency staff. Maintenance and replacement of these systems is required on a regular basis. The Forest Service intends to select at least one Contractor for each of the disciplines listed as General Contractor, State Certified Potable Water Sampling and Testing Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Plumbing Contractor and HVAC/Mechanical Contractor to accomplish specified work tasks in the multiple geographic areas of the Fremont-Winema National Forests for a period of a least one year and possibly three option years. The proposing Contractor(s) will be evaluated on quoted price and other technical evaluation criteria. The Contractor(s) will be selected on a best value basis. The Forest work sites are maily situated in Klamath and Lake Counties, Oregon. The Forests' geography consists of the Cascade Mountain Range to the west and the high desert Great Basin to the east. Climate changes can include heavy snow areas in the winter and desert conditions in the summer.
