- Description
- Noxious Weed Spraying Services. The Okanogan & Wenatchee National Forests requires herbicide treatment of noxious weeds on the Cle Elum Ranger District. Location of the work is in Kittitas County, Washington (located in the North Central portion of Washington State). Back-pack and truck spraying methods will be required. Work will vary in locations throughout the District. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies to complete the job. Contractor shall furnish all herbicide. Contractors will be required to be licensed as professional pesticide applicators by the State of Washington. The Government is estimating between 370 and 500 acres to be treated. Price will be quoted by the acre. Contract time is estimated from date of award through September 30, 2007, depending on weather and site locations. The Contractor will be paid for actual work ordered, performed and accepted by the Government. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotations and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Acquisition of Commercial Item rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 4, 2007. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. Quotes are estimated to be due on June 18, 2007. The project is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 115112 and Size Standard is $6.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at the site on the issue date.
