- NASA/GRC has a requirement for two (2) Redlake EC-11000 Camera Heads including Fan Accessory Modules; two (2) Redlake ES-4020 Camera Heads; two (2) Redlake Megaplus II Controllers; one (1) EPIX PIXCI-CL2-ES4020 Framegrabber; one (1) EPIX PIXCI-E4-ES/EC11000-CL Framegrabber; one (1) CameraLink Cable CBL-CL-3M; one (1) CameraLink Cable CBL-CL-7M; two (2) Tether Cables CBL-MII-HD-05; and two (2) Tether Cables CBL-Mii-HD-07. All items must be delivered within 30 days after award. These items are to be for particle image velocimetry (PIV) to obtain planar flow field measurements. They will be used with existing software and hardware and must be fully compatible with the existing systems. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from EPIX, Inc. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on June 4, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
