- Restrictions: Requirement is a competitive set-aside for 8(A) Program within Region IV, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina, and Mississippi. Award will be based on awarding a contract to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. Description of Synopsis: Resulting solicitation will be Invitation For Bids (IFB) for a Requirement Contract to perform Erosion Control and Site work to designated sections of, Fort Campbell, KY. Specifically, the contractor shall be required to perform all labor, equipment, supplies/materials necessary to perform Erosion Control. Work includes the following: evacuating, pulling stumps, clearing and grubbing; grading of dirt; grading of roads which includes to shape and cut road and feather out gravel; grading rock; shaping dozer; silt fence; class III installed; geo textile fabric; riprap 12 inches, rock #2 & #4 shall be placed on ground and compacted; rock #6 & #10 shall be placed on ground and compacted; dense grade shall be placed on ground and compa cted; road tile installed 24 inches; road tile installed 36 inches, road tile installed 48 inches; water turn out work; trucking various materials by loading and hauling within 15 miles of site which includes round trip; head wall, rip rap shall include a 10 foot outflow no more than 10 ft wide or high; concrete side walk which shall be 4 ft in width per linear foot with a depth of 4 inches; mowing prepared areas along roads and open fields; mulch, straw blown or hand spread to sufficiently cover the ground no visible bare spots bigger than 6 inches square are visible; mulch, wood blown or hand spread to a depth of 2 inches; seeding, drill seed provided by government; seeding, broad case seed provided by government; disking, light agricultural; plowing or ro me plow agricultural; planting, row crop; fertilizer; cultipacking seed; lime; includes hauling and spreading; compaction of stone using vibratory roller; concrete head wall with up to 12 inches wings; and road sweeping using either self propelled or tract or mounted sweeper. A base year and four options periods is contemplated. Contract type will be firm fixed price. The magnitude of the project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is a competitive Set-Aside for 8(A). NAICS is 238910/$13 Million.
