- This announcement constitutes an official pre-solicitation notice. The intent is to notify potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns of the following acquisition, Installation of Foam Insulation at Bldg 327, F.E. Warren AFB, WY. The Government is soliciting for the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238310 and Standard Industry Classification (SIC Code) 1742, with a size standard of $13.0 million. The Government anticipates the issuance of the Request for Proposal in June 2007. Work will consist of furnishing all parts, material, supplies, equipment, labor, scaffolding and transportation to accomplish installation of spray on foam insulation in the roof rafters and clearstory wall at building 372. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT procedures, past performance will be evaluated. The target award date is July 2007. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Wide Area Work Flow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) websites. There will not be paper copies of the subsequent solicitation notice available. The RFP will be released using the Electronic Posting System (EPS) available at http://www.fbo.gov. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
