- Description
- This is a Request for Quote (RFQ), no. 0127-602100. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order for: (1) One mobile, high performance, high powered underwater camera system able to maneuver in any direction. This system will be used by the Jamaican Coast Guard for underwater ocean searches and inspections of hazardous sites. The underwater system should utilize six motors for propulsion; four motors for forward/reverse thrust and 2 motors for up and down thrust, so the system will be able to work in strong ocean currents. All motors should be reversible and operate in various speeds to better control search missions. With this underwater camera system the operator should be able to inspect, locate and videotape underwater without actually being in the water. Furthermore, the underwater system should have lights attached that are fully adjustable by the operator before the search mission. (1) One: 500 ft cable extender (1) One: On Screen Display with GPS (1) One: Crash Cage to protect the underwater system from damage when underwater (1) One: basic spare part kit for maintenance (1) One: Bulkhead Connection Offerors shall state their standard warranty they offer in their response to the RFQ.
