- Description
- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, a contract to provide for an integrated online diagnostic and instructional system to support teaching and learning in Reading for grades K-3 and Mathematics in grades K-12, to include grade level Mathematics for K-8 and four High School courses. The online system will provide support for students during transition (e.g., when their parents/sponsors move to a new military assignment) and the teachers who serve them. The modules in the online system may be grade level-specific, grade band-specific (i.e., K-2, 3-5, 6-8), course specific (for high school Mathematics), or span a seamless continuum. Up to three contracts may be awarded, one for the K-3 Reading component, one for the K-8 Mathematics component, and one for the High School Mathematics component. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Far part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation number is HE1254-07-R-1020, and is issued as a Request for Proposal. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties should ensure that their information in the Central Contractor Registration, http://www.ccr.gov/ is accurate and current. This requirement is unrestricted. Offerors shall submit their offers in accordance with the submission instructions contained in the solicitation by 2:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Thursday, June 21, 2007.
