Description
This notice is released to announce a U.S Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans requirement for grounds maintenance in a manner to ensure healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat appearance at Old River Lock. The Re quest for Proposal is for a firm fixed price, performance based service contract to be competed under solicitation W912P8-07-R-0096. This contract will be for a base and four (4) option years. This action 100% HubZone Set-Aside under NAICS code 561730, s ize standard $6.5 million. The RFP and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov It is and will continu e to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments updates offerors library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offero rs to download from the fedbiz website. Any communications must identify the RFP number, W912P8-07-R-0096 company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The anticipa ted solicitation release date is 25 May 2007 with a due date of 08 June 2007. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004). Therefore you must be CCR regis tered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstre et. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
