Description
SIR# DTFAWA-07-R-00015 SEE LATEST AMENDMENT #003 Announcement for: "Program Management, Acquisition Management, System Engineering, Operations Planning for the FAA Office of Technology Development This acquisition will be conducted as a Small Business Set Aside competition in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS). The successful offeror will be selected for contract award through the competitive process described in the SIR. The Screening Information Request is attached. The type contract will be a Cost Reimbursement "Cost Plus Fixed Fee" Term form. The government estimate for this procurement is approximately $9 Million over a 4 year period. The Small Business size standard is $25M. This dollar size limit was determined under NAIC code Engineering Services 541330 applying exception "Aerospace Equipment". Background: The Directorate of Operations Planning Technology Development Services, ATO-P provides aviation engineering services that are an integral component of the National Airspace System (NAS) planning and operational system. The NAS provides the flying public with air traffic control services designed to ensure air transportation safety. ATO-P is responsible for providing technical and engineering direction and program management for multiple projects through various stages of development and NAS implementation. ATO-P must satisfy the technical requirements of the NAS as envisioned and implemented by the FAA. All interested sources should first download the Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Proposal (RFP) from this site. The date and time for receipt of proposals is 2:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time, May 29, 2007. Any responses submitted after that date and time will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. The FAA will accept questions regarding this SIR within five business days of the release of the SIR. The FAA responses to questions will be communicated at this site (http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm) under the Current Announcements for FAA Headquarters. Please check this site frequently and before posing questions. If an amendment is issued and the offeror does not acknowledge it their proposal may be considered nonresponsive to the solicitation.
