- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FAS) will issue a solicitation seeking vendors to obtain maintenance, repair, and technical support services for the Electronic Distribution Systems (EDS) at 35 locations for delivery of print products nationwide in accordance with FAR 15 procedures. FAS seeks the support of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractor with the necessary technical capabilities to maintenance, repair, and technical support services for EDS. FSA, utilizing state-of-the-art Electronic Distribution System (EDS) technology, delivers quality printed products to nationwide customers. The EDS network is a recognized leader in meeting customer needs by providing high quality, timely, and dependable service. FSA operates EDS production centers in 35 locations within 33 states and Washington, DC to generate and distribute Federal Farm Program information via the Internet, email and hard copy throughout the United States. All 35 EDS sites download, store, assemble, and print documents daily, keeping County and State Office information current with Federal regulations and laws. EDS sites also archive information for reference and easy retrieval. This solicitation will be competed as a Total Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.1405. The anticipated contract type will be a firm, fixed price contract for a 12-month period with four (4) optional periods. The statement of work requirements fall under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 323115 -- Digital Printing.
