- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION PURSUANT TO FAR 15.201(E) 21 N STOCK OUT/STOCK LOW (SOSL) O-Rings and Gaskets INTRODUCTION Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC) is assessing the availability of 21 N items in which the Center is either out of stock or low in stock. PURPOSE OF REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DSCC is requesting information from any and all contractors who currently have 21N items in stock or have immediate access to these items from other sources. DSCC is attempting to replenish stock of these items for future use. In accordance with the attached document detailing the National Stock Number (NSN) and Nomenclatures, the following information is requested: 1. Entire Stock Available and Unit of Issue 2. New or Certified Government Surplus 3. Price 4. Delivery (# of days) DESCRIPTION OF INFORMATION REQUESTED All vendors with an appropriate product relating to the items on the attached list hereto are invited to supply an unsolicited proposal if necessary. Be prepared, if information received warrants future consideration in producing a solicitation, that other documents, such as traceability and Government Surplus Certifications may be required. These items have historically been difficult to obtain from commercial and/or military suppliers and several of the items are currently in backorder status. The attached list contains NSNs and Nomenclatures from one or more stock classes, but are all similar in nature. Vendors with a GSA schedule or other form of long term contract should provide the contract number of that schedule or contract. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review.
