Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE STATESBORO, GEORGIA The United States Government seeks to lease street-level, contiguous (same floor) Office space, or contiguous upper-floor space on one floor which meets GSA lease criteria and has handicapped accessible elevator service to the office floor as an acceptable alternative. The space offered must consist of approximately 8,086 rentable square feet in Statesboro, Georgia. The space should yield between 7,031 and 8,086 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. Commercial parking at reasonable rates is desired for visitors and employees within a two-block radius of the office. Parking should be provided in accordance with local ordinances based on the square footage acquired. Availability of public transportation with adequate parking must be available within two-blocks of the space offered. The proposed space must be located within the boundaries of the delineated area listed below: NORTH: Intersection of N. College St. & Elm St., traveling East on Elm St. to N. Main St. North on N. Main St. to Sharpe St. East on Sharpe St. to Oak St. SOUTH: Intersection of Brampton Ave. & Veterans Memorial Hwy. (Rt. 301) traveling East & North on Veterans to Intersection of Federal Hwy. 80 (Northside Drive) EAST: Intersection of Sharpe St. and Oak St. South on Oak St. to Hill St. East on Hill St. to Railroad St. South on Railroad St. to intersection of E. Main St. East on E. Main St. to intersection of Savannah Ave. Savannah Ave. East & South to Federal Hwy. 80, to Veterans Memorial Hwy. (Rt. 301) WEST: Intersection of Elm St. & N. College St. South on N. College St., becoming S. College St. to W. Bulloch St. East on W. Bulloch St. to S. Main St. South on S. Main St. to Brampton Ave. Follow Brampton Ave. South to Veterans Memorial Hwy. (Rt.301). The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than May 24, 2008. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized.
