- ***This Synopsis is revised as follows: The solicitation is available on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website effective 21 May 2007 with a closing date of 20 June 2007 at 4:00 p.m. All other information remains the same.*** Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to procure for Cloth, Silica Glass. This solicitation will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 327910 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Place of delivery is FOB destination at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Bremerton, WA 98314. Expected delivery to be within 15 days after the date of each order placed. This procurement will be awarded using non-commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. Copies of MIL/FED specs may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. Resulting award will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract for a Base year of performance plus four (4) one-year option periods. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about 30 May 2007, with offers due on or about 29 June 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
