Description: Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole-source contract to BAE Systems, Lansdale, PA for engineering and technical support to EA-6B squadrons deployed with the Low Band Transmitter. The support is required to facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment that has been fielded prior to the establishment of organic support. BAE is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the LBTs and, therefore, is the only known source with the engineering, expertise, source data, and knowledge to provide the required support. The resulting award will be for a twelve month Cost Plus Fixed-Fee Contract. Note 22 applies.
