Description
This announcement is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The Bureau of Reclamation,Pacific Northwest Region in Boise Idaho, per the authority of FAR 6.001(a) and using FAR Parts 13 procedures intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, in Nespelem, WA 99155. As provided in the Memorandum of Agreement number 1425-06 MA 10 7046 between the Bureau of Reclamation and the Confederated Tribes of The Colville Reservation, CCT shall: 1) provide professional care and management of collections in accordance with 36 CFR 79,411 DM and as detailed in the CCT Repository manual; 2) perform curation services involving or affecting Native Tribe Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) items consistent with that law and with respect for the beliefs and concerns of potentially affiliated tribes; 3) other requirements include: assigning persons whose museum property is appropriate to the nature and content of the collection, annual inspection of the facility using DM checklist provided by Reclamation and assist Reclamation in annual inventory of the collections; review and recommend to Reclamation approval or denial of requests for access to collections or a part thereof for scientific and educational purposes and provide annual report to Reclamation of actions affecting the collections. Items termed as Collections are: 1) The Kettle Falls Collections, recovered from the multiple sites in the Kettle Falls area; 2) Collections from the multiple sites, comprised mostly of items collected from Site 45 DO 189 in 1986 by Eastern Washington University; and 3) collections from work conducted at site 45 DO 189 in 1997 by James Chatters.This acquisition is classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 712110, Museum Services. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for this NAICS code is $6.5 M.
