Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17. The SIC is 6513. The NAICS code is 531110. This solicita tion serves as the Request for Quotation for Extended Stay Apartments/Rooms Rentals within 45 miles of the Main Gate to Dugway Proving, UT. CLIN items are as follows: CLIN 0001: One (1) each, fully furnished extended stay room, private bathroom, microwave, refrigerator and access to washer and dryer from 09-July-2007-04-August-2007. CLIN 0002: Seventeen (17) each, fully furnished extended stay rooms, private bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, access to washers and dryers, from 09 July-2007-04 August 2007 ; CLIN 0003: Fifty (50) each, fully furnished extended stay rooms, private bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, access to washer and dryer, from 08 July-2007-04 August 2007; CLIN 0004: Six (6) each fully furnished extended stay rooms, private bathrooms, r efrigerators, microwaves, access to washers and dryers, from 25 June-2007-09 August 2007; CLIN 0005: Four (4) each fully furnished extended stay rooms, private bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, access to washers and dryers, from 09 July-2007-04 August 2007; CLIN 0006: One (1) each fully furnished extended stay rooms, private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, access to washer and dryer, from 15 July-2007-09 August 2007. The Federal Government is exempt from all state and local sales taxes. Any state and local taxes shall be separated from room charges. Award will be based on the best value to the Government, which includes rental rates, commuting distance with 45 miles of the Dugway UT Main Gate as stated above. The Government intends to award multiple p urchase order for this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to shift rental dates and/or cancel completely. Rent stated in monthly terms shall be prorated on the basis of 1/30th of the monthly rate for each date the apartment/rooms are in the Go vernments possession. Offerors need to include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3; Offeror wishing to submit a quotation are required to be (registered in CCR, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Ter ms and Conditions required to implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, clauses include: 52.222-19: Child Labor, 52.222-26: Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35: Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans o f the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans, 52.222-36: Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans, 52.232-33: Payment by Electr onic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration.
