- Description
- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, is seeking potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) sources for the East River Turning Basin Mitigation Project, Brunswick Harbor, Brunswick, Georgia. The project will include the followin g: (1) Clear, grub and excavate approx. 18 acres for creation of marsh from existing hammock areas. Approx. 135,000 cu. yds. of material will need to be excavated, transported, and placed into Andrews Island disposal area. (2) Excavate the hammocks to s pecified elevations suitable for natural regeneration by Spartina marsh. (3) A 70-ft wide berm or shelf at marsh level is designated to border the edge of the expanded turning basin; mitigation marshland will be sprigged. The Standard Industrial Classifi cation Code (SIC) is 1794 and North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 238910. The size standard for this NAICS is $13.0 million.
