- The Army Contracting Agency at Fort Polk, Louisiana will issue a request for quote (RFQ), 100% hubzone set aside with intent to award a firm-fixed price contract for all equipment, tools, personnel, supervision and other items and service necessary t o perform grounds maintenance, grass mowing, edging, trimming and herbicide treatment in North Fort Polk, Louisiana to include Alligator Lake. Vendor must be certified by the state of Louisiana for applying herbicide. Services will be from 11 June 2007 t hrough 31 Mar 2008. This RFQ contains an option clause to extend the contract for four one-year periods, NAICS Code is 561730. Award for this procurement will be based on lowest quote and past performance. This RFQ has an approximate issue date of 23 M ay 2007 and an approximate due date of 29 May 2007. No Telephone or emailed quotes will be accepted. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted and available for view and download at: http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/doc in addition to ASFI. Intere sted parties should review their Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR)and ORCA. The Contractor must have the capability to submit payment requests using one of the following elect ronic forms: (1) Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA).
