Description
STATEMENT OF WORK FOR 80 TON CRANE SERVICE 1. The purpose of this statement of work is to establish contract crane requirements to augment 86 MXS/MXMTR Crash Recovery program in the event of a large body airframe mishap on or near Ramstein AB airfield (distance TBD). 2. We are requesting the following support from the _________________crane company: a. 80-ton or larger all-terrain crane and all support equipment needed, i.e. counter weights, dunnage, support vehicles and riggers for the crane. 86 MXS/CDDAR will provide all equipment involved with actual lifting of Aircraft. b. The response time for ___________ crane company will be no longer than 3 hours from the time of request by the CDDAR team chief or designated representative. c. _____________crane company will be prepared to provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (to include Sundays and German and American holidays). d. Once the crane arrives ______________crane company will provide continuous round-the-clock support for the crane (replacement drivers, operators and maintenance teams for the crane to include fuel) until released by the CDDAR team chief. e. All personnel involved in this contract will have the necessary identification to be escorted onto Ramstein AB. f. The operator/driver of the crane must be able to communicate in English with the American team members or ___________ crane company provide a translator to stay on scene the entire time the crane is present. g. ____________ crane company will be responsible for providing on-site support for the crane support crew, i.e. food/water. 3. The following rules/procedures will be accepted by the _______crane company members at all times: a. No alcohol or drugs will be consumed by any member of the support crew at any time. b. No smoking is allowed anywhere on or around the incident site. c. All support crews working for _______________ crane company will take direction from the on-site American military personal. Safety rules and procedures established by the USAF will be adhered to by every member of the crane support crew.
