- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Roofing Requirements at Barksdale AFB, LA. The proposed contract will include maintenance, repair, and replacement of roofs located on Barksdale AFB. The contractor shall furnish adequate supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform all the construction services contemplated under this contract. The location of the contract is Bossier City, LA. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request For Proposal, source selection will be conducted in accordance with the Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT). A Fixed-Price Construction contract will result from the solicitation. Estimated Request for Proposal Issue Date is: 8 June 2007. Estimated Proposal Closing Date is: 6 July 2007. This will be an electronic solicitation release. No hard copies will be mailed. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to current information. The performance period will include a one-year base period (1 Jan 08 to 31 Dec 08) with four, one-year option periods. This acquisition is set-aside competitively for 8(a) concerns located within SBA Region VI (LA, AK, TX, NM, OK). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238160 (Roofing Contractors). The small business size standard is $13 million in annual gross receipts.
