- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG40-07-R-20029 and is a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334511 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The USCG Engineering Logistics center (ELC) has a requirement for receivers and antennas for the Automatic Direction Finder System. The parts are as follows: 1. NSN 5825-01-467-2409, Receiver, Tech Comm. Part No. 5X579-TC-5025A/USCG ADF, Quantity of 5 each. 2. NSN 5985-01-493-3476, Antenna, Tech Comm. Part Number TC-6526/USCG HF/VHF DF, Quantity of 15 each. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Tech Comm, Inc. in Sunrise, FL and the U.S. Coast Guard ELC intends on obtaining pricing directly from the manufacturer or its authorized distributors. Brand Name Only! Proposal shall include the company Tax Information Number (TIN) and DUNS Number, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item individually preserved, packaged in its own (one each) cardboard carton in accordance with ASTM D 3951 and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129P. Manufacturer?s Standard Commercial Warranty shall be disclosed. This acquisition has a desired delivery, after award of a contract, of 60/90 days. F.O.B. Destination Pricing is required. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The anticipated award date for this procurement is 31 May 2007.
