- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals for the preparation and implementation of the 2008 National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses (NSSRN) Survey. The purpose of this procurement is to update 250 alpha segments of names used in the sample procedures; to prepare and implement the 2008 NSSRN survey (fine-tuning of the sample design to the identification of the initial sample drawn from each alpha segment and portion thereof in each State; collection of licensure files for 2008 from all States; the dissemination of the questionnaires and performance of follow up activities with non respondents and respondents with whom further clarification is needed; the preparation of datasets of responses and derived variables based on those responses to allow research for findings resulting from the survey); to develop and produce various analytical reports based on the survey activities and findings; to develop a preliminary summary report for release to the public of early findings from the survey responses; and to develop a final Findings Report for production in hard-copy and Internet implementation. Proposals from all responsible sources will be considered. The anticipated period of performance is a four years.
