Description

THIS PROPOSED PROCUREMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 2 DAYS. The project consists of 1) removal and disposal of the existing 6-foot span by 3.8 foot rise arch culvert at the Star Creek Crossing on the Smokey Boulder Road #50074, MP 16.59. 2) Install new 16 ft. span, 6-foot high open bottom precast concrete box culvert. Work will include, but not be limited to: Remove and dispose of existing pipe, set and maintain survey control staking by referencing Government-supplied control points; Install ROAD CLOSED signs on Type III barricades; Submit an Erosion Control Plan that will show the stream diversion plan; Set precast box and wingwalls, Place stream simulation rock to construct a natural stream channel; Backfill and place aggregate surfacing on the new road; Haul any excess material to the existing Forest Service borrow pit near Yantis ditch. 3) Salvage rock for stream simulation material from the excavation. 4) Haul and place crushed aggregate. The project is located north on Highway 95 from New Meadows, Idaho for 11 miles. Turn left onto FSR 50074 and drive for approximately 11 miles to 50074 to the Star Creek Crossing. The Star Creek Crossing is approximately 1 mile past the Pollock Mountain Trailhead. NAICS code: 237310. Size Standard: $31.0 million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start date is August 15, 2007 with completion by August 23, 2007. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
