- Description
- Removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste from US installations throughout Western Mainland and Kysushu, Japan. The Solicitation is expected to be issued on or after May 29, 2007 with responses due on or after July 2, 2007. The solicitation will be available for download on the DRMS webpage: http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/index.html. The Solicitation will result in a single, firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The contract will have a 18-month base period with the Government?s unilateral right to exercise 2 18-month option periods. This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Offerors must have all required prefectural permits, registrations, and licenses to perform work in the country of Japan. In addition, the successful offeror must be licensed and registered to enter and stay in Japan in compliance with local law. The Government does not provide the contractor with SOFA status or any logistical support under the resultant contract.
