- THE PERFORMANCE PERIOD IS CHANGED TO 6/18/2007 THROUGH 6/29/2007. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA133C-07-RQ-0301. The NOAA, National Marine Sanctuaries, 175 Edward Foster Road, Scituate, Massachusetts, has a requirement to have the following drydocking, routine maintenance, repairs and vessel modifications for the R/V AUK R-5701 performed in accordance with the attached statement of work. 1. Drydocking and Routine Drydock Work 1 JOB 2. Seakeepers through Hull Penetrations and Sea Valve Installation 1 JOB 3. Science Winch Installation 1 JOB OPTION ITEM 4. Science Winch Wire Change Out Performance period is June 18, 2007 through June 29, 2007. The Government will deliver the vessel to the successful bidders facility. Delivery of the vessel back to the Government shall be at the Contractor?s facility. In order to comply with the debt collection improvement act of 1966, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the central contractor registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a federal contract. For information regarding registration in CCR contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. The FSC for this is J019 and the NAICS Code is 336611, small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and the following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause at paragraph (b) are applicable to this acquisition, as such consider the following clauses checked, (5(i)), (16), (17), (23), (24(i)) and (31). The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: None. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is assigned.
