- Description
- The procurement will resutl in award of a firm fixed price construction project for resurfacing of appro 31 lane miles of existing ashpaltic paved roads and approx 5000 sy of existing asphaltic parking locs. Incidental items to be construction or perform within this project consists of, but are not limited to: installation of new concrete pipe, manholes, junction boxes, and inlets; installation of limerock base course; prime coat; tack coat; milling of asphaltic pavement; full depth patching of asphalt pavement; new asphaltic pavement; pavement striping/marking; installation of raised pavement markers; topsoil; seeding; sod; minor structural concrete for curbs, sidewalks, etc.; installation of reflective tubular markers; and repair of existing stormwater pipe with cured in-place pipe (CIPP). This procurement is being advertised on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The Size Standard is $31,000.000. The estimated cost of construction (budget range) is between $3,000,000 and $5,500,000. The total target contract duration period is 360 calendar days. The work will be phased. A solicitation will be issued in approximately 3 weeks, formatted as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Award will be made using trade-off processes under the best value continuum to select the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and technical factors considered.
