- The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. This RFP is for a Five Year (one year basic ordering period plus four, one year optional ordering periods) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the manufacture of the Barrel Erosion Gage used to measure diametrical wear of the barrels used on the M61A1 20 MM Gun. NSN: 4933-01-068-8007; P/N: 167C2209; DIM: Height 12 in., Width 0.5 in., Depth 0.0625 in., Weight 0.3 pounds ; MATERIAL: Steel; FORM, FIT, FUNCTION: measures diametrical wear of the barrels used on the M61A1 20 MM. Requirement is for 2 ea. First Articles to be delivered, F.O.B. Destination, to Robins AFB GA, NLT 90 DARO Contract and 1ea. to 23 ea. production articles to be delivered, F.O.B. Destination, to Camp Pendleton (USMC) CA, NLT 90 DARO First Article Approval. Also, four optional ordering periods of 1 ea. to 15 ea., delivery destination to be determined, are required. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 2 JUN 2007 with an approximate response date of 2 JUL 2007.
