- The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the intent of NASA/GSFC to award a 12 month sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) Software to provide renewal software and support for Maximo. This procurement action is for NASA?s Facilities Management Division to track facility related maintenance task, job plans and preventive maintenance task. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 3:00 p.m. E.S.T. on June 1, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination to compete this effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and any amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URL?s linked below.
