- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source contract to Complete Parachute Solutions Inc. (CPS Inc.), 1320 East International Speedway Blvd, Deland, Fl 32724, for the following items: 250 each Multi-Mission Parachute Part Number CPS-MM14-SYSTEM COM; 53 each Tandem System Parachute Part Number CPS-SOV-TS14-TANDEM; 100 each Harness/Hanging/Training part Number CPS-HARNESS-MM14; and 50 each ESP Kit Part Number CPS-ESPMM14-154. This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. Each CPS Inc. part has been tested to perform to rigid requirements as specified in Marine Corps Order (MCO) 3500.20A for Marine Corps Parachuting and Diving Policy and Program Administration. Only those articles, which have been successfully tested, are qualified. The intent of the process is to provide maximum reasonable assurance that the mission can be completed. Only the equipment provided by Complete Par achute Solutions has been successfully tested and qualified by the U.S. Marine Corps. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated. Award will be based on the written Request for Proposal. NSWC PC plans on releasing the solicitation electronically only. Shipment will be FOB Destination to the Naval Support Activity-Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. Anticipated award date will be on or about 31 Aug 07 , 2007. NAICS Code 314999 applies. FSC is 1670. SBA Size Standard is 500 Employees.
