- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase a Routerless Network to include: Item No. 1- Material Cost; Item No. 2-Travel (Number of Trips-5); Item No. 3-Scientific Engineering; Item No. 4- Software Licensing. The specific evaluation will be based on the following criteria: Technical approach and Understanding, Past Performance, Key Personnel, Management, and Pricing. A Statement of Work containing a full description and the delivery date of each is listed as attachment 1 on our homepage and may be found at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY/ These items are required for integration into the WOLFPACK PLATOON. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date is 25 May at 2:00 p.m. EST. The anticipated award date is June 8, 2007. All items are to be priced FOB destination shall apply. Delivery shall be strictly in accordance with the Statement of Work. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained for the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423.
