- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.crane.navy.mi/acquisition/homepage.html. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. The Government will procure parts to repair the V-80AB-F-NTSC Video Cassette Recorder. The V-80AB-F is a ruggedized Hi 8mm single deck NTSC video cassette recorder used in U.S. Navy aircraft and helicopters to record in-flight operations. This will be a 3-year, firm-fixed price, IDIQ contract. The contract minimum will be $46K and the maximum will be $500K. Shipment of parts shall be FOB destination NSWC Crane, IN. Inspection/acceptance shall be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel. This procurement is not for a commercial item and FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. See note 26. The applicable NAICS Classification is 334310. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 5/31/07 and expected to close on or about 6/31/07. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a sole-source basis with TEAC Aerospace based on FAR 6.302-1, only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirements. See note 22.
