Description: The National Park Service, Redwood National and State Parks, intends to conduct non-competitive negotiations leading to contract award to conduct a cultural resource study at Jedediah Smith Campground and Hiouchi Flat, located along the Smith River in Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP), Hiouchi, CA to provide RNSP land managers detailed information about significant cultural resources at this site. This action is pursued under the authority at 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) and implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within 30 days after date of publication of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Solicitation Number N8482070037. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. The NAICS code for this project is 541690 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Contract duration is 300 days following notice to proceed. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
