- Description
- The Army Contracting Agency, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) at the Pentagon, on behalf of the Army Asymmetric Warfare Office, intends to issue a solicitation to procure personnel labor, management, and support necessary for supporting the Arm y Asymmetric Warfare Office (AAWO) mission, as a small business set-aside. Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS code 541611 with a size standard of $6.5 million will be considered for award. Thi s requirement main objectives are: To obtain support services to assist the Army Asymmetric Warfare Office in the institutional and operational capability of Asymmetric Warfare within the Army; Assist the Army in creating organizational long-term function alities to serve as the Army Executive Agent for the oversight and management of Asymmetric Warfare; Assist in establishing policy and procedures for Asymmetric Warfare; Assist in positioning the organization to leverage resources from other DoD entities a s it relates to Asymmetric Warfare; Assist in conducting analysis on policies and procedures related to Asymmetric Warfare. An Indefinite/Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated. The period of performance is a base period of twelve months a nd four (4) 12 month options and read as follows: Base Year: 1 August 2007 to 31 July 2008, Option Year I: 1 August 2008 to 31 July 2009, Option Year II: 1 August 2009 to 31 July 2010, Option Year III: 1 August 2010 to 31 July 2011, Option Year IV: 1 Au gust 2011 to 31 July 2012. The services to be performed will be conducted at various government facilities located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Work may also be performed at other AAWO sites (TRADOC at Ft Leavenworth, and TRADOC at Fort Monroe) i ncluding US Army component command sites, sites that relate to US Army missions and operations as required to accommodate specific tasking, and contractor corporate facilities. Travel overseas is a possibility. Contractor personnel must have a top secret clearance at the time of contract award. A written Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on or about 7 June 2007. The RFP must be retrieved and downloaded from CCEs homepage at: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/Services.htm click on RFPS ; s elect the desired RFP and click on the Process button. No hard copies of the RFP will be issued; all amendments will be posted and must be retrieved from this website. Questions are to be submitted by 1:00 PM EST, 18 June 2007 Responses to the RFP must b e submitted by email to the POC identified below. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
