- Description
- The 10th Mission Support Group, Directorate of Contracting, United States Air Force Academy Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial contract to DLT Solutions, Inc. The requirement is for renewal of Autodesk software. Autodesk has proprietary rights to this software and directly provides all upgrades, patches, and releases for the software, and all technical support. Autodesk is the only manufacturer for this software and has named DLT Solutions, Inc. as their Master Government Reseller. In addition, Autodesk software is used throughout several academic disciplines at USAFA, including Aeronautics, Astronautics, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. This software is critical to the Academy mission providing the required engineering applications to multiple Air Force Academy departments and cadets. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 423430 and the size standard is 100 employees. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by 10MSG/LGCB. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they can provide the services that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim no later than 25 May 2007. The information must explain the company?s ability to overcome the restriction of proprietary rights. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
