- NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award on a sole source basis a 5-year Requirements type contract for the repair of specialized cryptographic communication equipment listed below to the OEM, Sypris Data Systems, Inc., 8500 Dyer Street, Ste 65, El Paso, Texas, 79904-2865 (CAGE: 327T4). This equipment is used for digital recording, multiplexing and distribution of data signals. Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) for Basic Period, Option Year 1, Option Year 2, Option Year 3 and Option Year 4 are as follows: DTR-16 Analog Recorder, P/N: 642600-0001, NSN: 5835ND019724J, Annual BEQ: 4 each; DTR-16 STD Recorder, P/N: 640220-0001, NSN: 5835ND017611J, Annual BEQ: 4 each; DTR-16C Recorder w/CEPT, P/N: 640220-0002, NSN: 5835ND019963J, Annual BEQ: 4 each; DTR-6/DTR-6R, P/N:596680-0001/R, NSN: 5835ND005269J, Annual BEQ: 3 each; DTR-8 Recorder, P/N: 637320-0001, NSN: 5835ND017222J, Annual BEQ: 4 each; DTR8E Recorder, P/N: 639000-0001, NSN: 5835ND009713J; Annual BEQ: 4 each; DTR8EC Recorder, P/N: 639000-0002, NSN: 5835ND008565J, Annual BEQ: 4 each; TDM-6 Multiplexer, P/N: 635070-0000, NSN: 5998ND008529J, Annual BEQ: 1 each; TDM-8E Multiplexer, P/N: TDM8E, NSN: 5895ND015328J; Annual BEQ: 2 each; TDM-D8 Multiplexer, P/N: TDM-D8, NSN: 5895ND019365J, Annual BEQ: 2 each. Required Delivery: 30 days after receipt of assets. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by July 2007. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. See Note 22.
