- This is a notice of the Government?s intent to negotiate a purchase order with Tactical Support Equipment, Inc(TSE) for a K-9 Camera System and Digital Backpack Kit, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. TSE, Inc. is the manufacturer of this equipment and they manufacture the transmitter/receiver boards that are compatible with all Reconnaissance Surveillance Target Acquisition(RSTA) equipment. These boards are not sold to third parties or integrators. Commercial camcorders or CCD camera can cause mission failure if certain items are not taken into consideration such as lens diameter, battery life, connectors, and format. TSE is the sole manufacturer of this system, the transmitter/receiver boards used in the system, and all other RSTA equipment. Use of this system is to maintain compatibility with all other organic reconnaissance kits. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis is solely the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested persons may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to the Government point of contact.
