- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract modification to CSC Applied Technologies, Inc. on or about 15 June 2007 for services in support of range operations, telemetry antenna/receiving and processing equipment, and the broad spectrum of aircraft modification work performed to include the design, installation and support of special flight test instrumentation systems. This action is a 4-month extension to contract N00421-02-C-3052, for the period 23 June 2007 through 22 October 2007. The requirement will entail an estimated 318,457 man-hours of service effort. Key labor categories include senior engineers, software engineers, and engineering technicians. The follow-on to contract N00421-02-C-3052 will be competed via SeaPort-e Zone 2 under solicitation N00024-06-R-3659. An advance draft copy of the statement of work and solicitation sections L and M were posted in SeaPort-e on 10 May 2007. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code, Section 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
