Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is VA-101-07-RQ-0022. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority of FAR 19 and the Veterans Benefit Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f) and is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Size standard is $31M. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for: 1. Removing (demolishing) an existing drywall partitions and metal studs as per the attached reference drawings. 2. Re-circuit light fixtures where rooms were demolished a. to open area light's circuit (junction box) b. move electrical and data wiring back to nearest junction box 3. Salvage (and return to Agency) the removed doors, frames, and door hardware. 4. Patch and repair walls (where walls will be removed). 5. Replace all damaged and marked ceiling tiles (where walls will be removed). 6. Paint all surface where walls will be removed and Paint entire Suite to match existing paint (Benjamin Moore #960) 7. Patch floors (where walls will removed) with Government furnished carpet tiles (Contractor will provide adhesive) All work to be performed during non working hours, Monday through Friday 4:30 PM: - 6:00 AM and All day Saturday and Sunday.
