- The FAA has a continuing requirement for Contractor Depot Logistics Support (CDLS) of the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) Critical and Essential Power Systems (ACEPS), National Exide/IPM Uninterruptible Power Systems (NEIUPS), the Dual Redundant Power Distribution System (DRPDS), and the Critical Redundant Power Distribution System (CRPDS). This requirement also includes full maintenance and engineering support services for the older Exide and International Power Machine (IPM) UPSs of the National Exide/IPM Interruptible Power Systems (NEIUPS). Services will include 24-hour technical support via telephone, technical interchange meetings, and on-site problem resolution. The requirement is for a base year and includes option provisions to renew for four additional 1-year periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with that Eaton Eaton Power Quality, Federal Systems Divisions, Raleigh, NC in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted June 21, 2006, through July 21, 2006, and the results of this survey supported the determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm.
