- Description
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a purchase order for kenneling services in support of the Canine Enforcement Program. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and facilities required to provide kenneling services in the Boston, MA. area for six (6) canines, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The number of canines is subject to change according to the needs of the service. The canines' work address is Logan Airport in Boston, MA. The Statement of Work has been modified to include the statement: "The kennel shall be located no further than 30 miles from the work site". This acquisition requires boarding, bathing and food, to be provided by the vendor in accordance with the standards shown in the SOW. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) along with the Statement of Work will be issued on or about June 1, 2007. Quotes should be submitted in the form of a daily kenneling rate per dog. The price shall include the cost of food and bathing. Award will be made to the contractor who provides the best value to the Government, including cost and conformance with the SOW. The cost of mileage and driving distance between Logan Airport and the vendor will also be evaluated as part of the RFQ. Anticipated award will be for services from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
