- Description
- The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type contract with ComTrain, Monroe, WI, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. Multiple awards are not being sought. The service to be performed is training of CBP Officers in accordance with OSHA regulations that involves continuous/ongoing training to all certified climbers. Training is to be conducted in accordance with ComTrain's" Two (2) day "Certified" Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue" Training and "Instructor Training" of the "Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue" Training Program. Any firm that believes it can provide training that is matched to ComTrain Curriculum please contact the specialist below. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm to provide the required training as defined/described in this Notice. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer at: U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, CBP, 6650 Telecom Drive, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278, Attention: Rick Travis, Contract Specialist (e-mail address is richard.travis@dhs.gov) No telephone submission of information will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
