- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to purchase a baggage tow tractor. We are seeking the brand name manufacturer Tug, or equal; the model number is MA. The tow tractor needs t o have the following features: diesel engine, back up alarm, and amber strobe light. It must also have these standard features: recessed headlights, combo tail and stop lights, power disc brakes, automatic transmission, seat belts, non slip surface on floo r boards, non slip surface on break pedal, engine speed govener, adjustable over center park brake lever, and split breaking systems. The delivery location is Long Beach, CA zip code 90822-1093. All quotes must include delivery cost. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quotes are due NLT Tuesday, May 29, 2007 by 2:00 pm and may be faxed to 805-594-6348 or e-mailed to jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil.
